Two years of farming the right way. Here is everything we do — and why we do it the way we do.

It has been two wonderful years since we started The Mango Farm, and we are grateful beyond words for the love and trust you have shown us.

We would like to take a moment to explain how our harvesting and delivery process works, so you know exactly what goes into every mango that reaches you — and why things sometimes work a little differently from what you might expect.

Order-Based, Batch Harvesting

We harvest our mangoes in batches, based on the orders and advance bookings we receive. We do not harvest fruit speculatively or maintain large stockpiles — we wait until a meaningful number of orders has come in, and only then do we head to the trees.

When we do harvest, only fruits that have matured or are near-ripe are picked — in quantities that match the confirmed orders for that batch. No more, no less.

Why this matters for you: Because we never over-harvest, you are never receiving fruit that has been sitting around. Every mango in your box was picked specifically because your order — and others like it — called for it.

What You Receive — and How It Ripens

Mangoes left unharvested on the tree ripen and fall on their own. When that happens, we collect and store them carefully, dispatching based on incoming orders. Since we never harvest without confirmed bookings, we do not deliver fully ripened fruit.

What you receive will be mature and ready to ripen naturally within two to three days of delivery — at room temperature, away from direct sunlight. This is exactly how mangoes are meant to be enjoyed.

Tip: Place your mangoes in a paper bag or wrap them loosely in newspaper to speed up ripening. Once they give slightly to gentle pressure and smell fragrant at the stem end, they are ready.

We strictly do not use carbide or any artificial chemical for ripening — a practice unfortunately widespread in the mango industry.

Carbide-ripened mangoes may look uniform and ready-to-eat, but the process strips the fruit of its natural taste, aroma, and fragrance. At The Mango Farm, we believe mangoes should ripen on their own terms.

At TMF, we let nature lead. The result is fruit that smells the way a mango should, tastes the way a mango should, and gives you an experience no chemically processed fruit ever could.


We are a very small family farm — just us, our trees, and a deep commitment to doing things right. We do not have the infrastructure of a large commercial operation, and we are proud of that.
